How much does all of the stars, planets, and gases weigh in the entire universe using Earth's gravity as a reference?

What mystical energy prevents the Earth's orbit from decaying due to the extreme gravity of the sun and frying every living thing on it? Yet wierd occurence in space?

BRAVO! At least most of the responders thus far have answered what they can and admitted not knowing what they don't.

Too often people merely quote what they've seen on a TV program. GREAT JOB to you!

"Why did all of the mass in the universe spontaneously expand and form stars and planets just because? "
We don't know yet.

"How much does all of the stars, planets, and gases weigh in the entire universe using Earth's gravity as a reference?"
We don't know yet.

"What mystical energy prevents the Earth's orbit from decaying due to the extreme gravity of the sun and frying every living thing on it?"
This was adequately explained 300 years ago, with no need for mystical energy.

gravity pulls us in, but centripital force pushes us out, the combination makes us stable for the most part.

Stars are gasses that form energy through nucler fusion created from the immense heat. Planets are balls of large rock circling these stars.

That's really all I've got and all I need to understand it.

As for suddenly expanding, I would have to go with an explosion of some sorts pushing all the matter out in the motion relative to an expanding sphere, out ward in every direction.

Ryan K: nothing + nothing = nothing, something + nothing = unchanged something, something + something = different something. Oh yes, we are quite illogical. If you want pride, go take a look at LeVay Satanism.

Joe D: simply put, you don't have a clue about evolution, abiogenesis, or the big bang. How you could ever consider yourself knowledgeable in the matter is far beyond me.

no person is acquainted with precisely how or why yet in accordance to scientists and physicists they say that there become a great bang which isn't something yet some expansion which become happening from 13 billion years in the past or perhaps now the expansion technique remains persevering with, meaning our universe become increasing from a small factor and at present it has become so great, the extra it expands the extra it looses warmth and creates gadgets like stars and then us, scientists say that they have evidence for this. this is a ok suited concept till now between the scientists and the astronomers. yet how all that befell? there become something called as Quantum Mechanics a technique (quantum fluctuation in the quantum field) which become constantly there and subsequently the Universe some how got here out of that. precisely how? no person is acquainted with. Scientists too won't be able to clarify this technique completely. As in step with religions standpoint God created each thing yet lower back the concern is who created God? or how become God constantly there with all of the magic in him? they only prefer to maintain those questions unanswered.

However Christians spin it it still doesn't make more sense that an omnipotent, immortal entity always existed and decided to create everything from nothing.

Yet Christians continue to blab on about how it's impossible for matter to form the way it did based on the laws of physics. Listen to the creator of this question talk about physics like he knows something about it. He doesn't even understand the simple laws of planetary motion.

Ya it just went bang. And all of this evolved from a puddle of goo. Amazing isn't it. And whats more amazing is the earth became self sufficient. Wow Then a man, or a women emerged from this puddle of goo. Wonder how long they lived before the other sex evolved? Wow Then all the animals evolved the same way. Now that's amazing. Or was it the other way around? How much faith does that take to believe?

The theory goes that just like the universe is currently expanding... At some point it collapsed in upon itself like a black hole..... After which it exploded outward again, which is the state we are in now, the expansion state..

that is the simple answer.... the real answer is that I was lonely and created the universe to relieve my boredom..

The truthful answer is that no-one knows the answers to your first two questions. As for the third, there is no mystical energy, just well-understood laws of physics.

Why are you asking this here. You appear to be under the misguided opinion that physicists and cosmologists spend their free time hanging out here.

Last time I checked, they didn't.

You keep asking these questions and they demonstrate you have a lot of misconceptions. You should ask this in the science forum.
