Christian version of God is definitely a very silly, very juvenile, very simple-minded, very naive idea. Having said that, non-anthropomorphic God (such as the Universe itself) is a rather attractive concept.

There being higher power is not a silly idea. Just think of the software you'd have to write to run the chemistry in our own bodies. That's proof there's a higher intelligence we don't understand.
Now the interpretation of the divine is a whole new ballgame. The version you speak of arose out of the mideast was poorly plagiarized from the tales of the Anannaki in the Sumerian tablet. It's terribly off base and degrades the divine.
The Buddhist version of it all is closest to the truth of the well known versions. "God" is all you can see and all you cannot, and you are a cell in that overall mind.

I think that ''GOD'' does not exist ! I am an atheist ! and its not god that cares about those things, its people ! My version of the god story is a bit long so I wont talk about it now ( cant type that much )... But its talking about that god doesn't exist and that its a big lie, who knows, maybe for 10 - 20 centuries people ( or other creatures ) will believe that Harry Potter was true, or any other book that is fiction ! So bible is clear fiction, right ?

Hey, I am a Muslim.
I have a lecture for everyone who wants proof of Almighty God. It is by the brilliant Muslim scholar, Dr. Zakir Naik. He proves Almighty God’s existence by using some of the many scientific verses in the Qur’an. Scientists are recently discovering these facts, but they were already in the Qur’an 1400 years ago! Please listen to the lecture. It is worth your time.

God is reality. A lot of people get upset because God doesn't do what they think He should do. He's a lot smarter than any of us and He does what is right, even if we don't see it that way. He created everything. I think He best knows how to run it.

Wow, please disregard all people here who know so little about science they dismiss evolution. So sad.
I doubt God (if there is one) creator of the heavens and Earth, gives a sh*t about sex. That (once again) is something a bunch of old white men came up with.

The idea that there is no God is mathematically impossible. Basic probability tells you that the odds of a blob of primordial ooze morphing into a man, regardless of how much time has passed, are so remote that mathematicians regard it as impossible. Emile Borel and Fred Hoyle are just two mathematicians who reject evolution on statistical grounds. It idea is a "Statistcal Immposibility". For example, it is theoretically possible that you could blow up a junk yard and all the flying pieces would land and form themselves into a Cadillac - that is possible. But the odds against it are so high that it constitutes a "Statistcal Immposibility". Same goes for evolution. That only leaves one possibility: God. There's your proof, mathematically arrived at.
