Is pride so big in Americas churches that even Jesus himself would walk out?

In many, many, many instances, the answer would be a resounding Yes. But not just pride, VANITY and self-righteousness. There is no harm in taking personal pride in ones achievements. However, the desire to broadcast and boast of false pride in lack of achievements and in a lie is an abomination.

It's not just American churches. It's ALL Churches.
Every organized religion is convinced that they're right. They can't ALL be right. I doubt if even ONE of them is.
If there is a Jesus, and he ever "comes back", I think he'll have a whole lot of b*itch-slappin' to do.
