Whenever you think you have a lot in common with a person , eventually you find out you have one humongous difference between you two despite all of those similarities? This has happened to me a few times and now there's this other guy who seems to have a lot in common with me, but he seems different from the rest. Should I give him a shot?

At some point you have to realize that you're never going to have everything in common with someone else and you're going to have to compromise. In order to make a relationship work you have to make exceptions and just live with it.

GIve him a shot. Similarities draw you together but differences keep you together. Learning the differences between people keeps interest.

Give it a try! Sometimes, people have too much in common, so there's no diversity or balance of the scales in the relationship. Variety of interests keeps things interesting.

It's not always best to have the same similarities as the same person. If your the same, then there will never be anything to talk about. ( and I mean NEVER! ) Just go with your heart. Go with the person that has always been your friend, or that you know will always be there for you in years to come!

Hah, my boyfriend of two years and I have everything in common. Except one huge thing: Our music tastes. He likes rap, and I'm more of an indie rock girl. Its not about "oh em gee, he's different" I love that he's different and I appreciate that he is :D

that happened to me too!! i thought me and this guy had a lot in common, but a few weeks ago i found out that he was totally the oppsite. we're still friends i guess but i dont see him in the same light anymore
