My step mother died. Before she died she made a will. I do not know what is in the will.
My Dad her husband living with her had a stroke 10 yrs ago he signed the title of the home to her in case he had to go to a nursing home. He did not go he has been with her all these years.
He is bed ridden from the stroke and only has VA benifits & social security. The other family members refuse to give me any informaton regarding the will & what will happen to my Dad. Now that she is gone we will be his only family members to look after him. We have no information regarding how his care will proceed.
Can her children take all the proceeds from the home and leave him with only his Social Security?

If you where smart, I would find out if a will has been put in probate. Your dad is still living, so I believe he will get most of the estate. You can decide what will happen to your dad, these people do not have any control over this. He is your family, they are only step and if they where taking care of things when the mom was alive, that ended when she died. Contact a lawyer, on your fathers behalf to find out what is going on, and what his rights are.
