Frontline flea spray (I wouldn't use the drops on a kitten that young).
The alternate is to get a very fine toothed flea comb and a bowl of hot water & comb it all out of the kitty.
There are sprays for the house too - Advantage is the one I have used - although if she has few specific sleeping areas it may just be easier to wash all the beds she does use.
Really not too difficult to get rid of the problem as long as you act quickly!

Frontline Cat is the only product that will get rid of fleas on a cat. Your Kit is young, may be better to ask a vets advice first you can buy Frontline cat on the internet now cheaper than the Vets charges. For the house get some flea spray from the pet shop its expensive, make sure you vaccum several times a day. I know I had this problem with 1 of my cats she was so invested, I got bitten to pieces. Get rid of the fleas on the cat first, then treat your house the vaccum is the best weapon.

Seven dust from your local hardware store works wonders and is safe to apply directly on your kitten. I've used it before and know it works. An indoor flea spray like Raid can be sprayed on your carpets. Wash her bedding and sprinkle some of the seven dust on it. Vacuuming often and also sprinkle some seven dust inside your vacuum bag. You have to be vigilant at this for about a week and it should take care of your problem. They also make a pill called cap-star that you can get from your vet that will kill every flea on your kitten in a few hours but you must treat your house to keep the fleas from reinfesting on your baby. Hope this helps. One more thing get her/him on a monthly flea treatment such as Frontline. It's well worth the $11 a month.

You need to start the kitten on the monthly applications of one of the following, Revolution, Advantage, or Frontline. I think Revolution works the best. These products also kill ticks, round and hook worms and ear mites. They can also prevent heartworms. You can purchase these from your vet but they are cheaper at deadfleaz.com on line. Once you use the Revolution, you will see dead fleas the next day and any that jump on and bite your cat in the next month will die too. You must spray your carpet and curtains and bedding with a high quality flea spray for carpets too. Don't buy the crap from Wal-mart...go to your vet or deadfleaz.com to get it. These products are amazing and do not harm your cat. I have been using them for 8 years or more on my kittens and adult and senior cats. Fleas are much more harmful than the product.

You need to go to your vet and purchase the correct flea sprays from there only! Your kitten is very young and, therefore, could be harmed by anything you may buy in haste 'over the counter' on the highstreet.
I know these sprays can be rather pricey and you will need to treat your home at the same time. However, the vet's solution will be the only way you'll get rid of these pests and keep them away by repeating the applications as instructed.
Fleas can be really harmful to young kittens and the distress can be devastating for all concerned. Don't 'save money' on commercial remedies; they don't work and you'll pay dearly in the long run.
Hope your kitten is soon over its unwelcome visitors!

Get flea dip for the cat --- set the house on fire then run like hell-LOL- Just a joke - spray the house for fleas or call a professional -- the only way you can treat the cat is get them out of the house first, if they have something to feed off of they won't go any where.

Hi,One of the best flea treatments is "Frontline" that's why it's recommended by vets. I have used this product on my kitten now for 3 months and he has not had one flea on him since.I also used "Bob Martins Flea Bombs" a couple of months ago (one for each room) to treat my house this has got rid of them completely. The frontline is available at any vets over the counter around £22 for 3 months supply, and the flea bombs you can get from your local pet shop around £5 each.Hope this helps.

fleas are very common especially this time of the year they are easy to get rid of by using frontline drops which you put on the back of your cats neck you get this from your vets and you can also get household flea spray too. untreated the fleas will make your kitten ill because they live on the kittens blood making the poor little thing anaemic

Take her to the vet to get some flea medication. Advantage works fast but only kills adult fleas, so it is recommended to do at least 4 treatments, it is a monthly treatment applied to the back of the neck. Revolution is similar to use but kills all stages of fleas and treats for worms, and mites.
