My partner and I want to take our kids camping towards the end of the year. We have the equipment but no idea where to go. It needs to be close to the beach. It has to be kid friendly. It cannot be more then 6hrs in any direction from Terrigal on the NSW Central Coast.
Any help would be appreciated.

Pick any spot from Yamba to Nowra. There are great beaches all along the coast. Every town and village has a camping area and all camping areas are children friendly. Some very popular campsites require booking in advance.

One Mile Beach near Anna Bay (Port Stephens) has a lovely holiday park, and you only have to walk over the sandhills to get to the patrolled beach.
