Recipe for a Happy Home:
1 house,ripe for occupancy
1 Husband,Fully Mature
1 Wife,Slightly affectioned
1 Bible,well read
2 Measures consideration
1 TBSP.Sympathy
10 Minutes of prayer carefully places on top of each day's portion
1 Pinch privacy,mixed with bushels of shared secrets.
2 Hours of laughter sprinkled thought the day
Add:
Children as desire
Garnish liberally with love and keep cool until sparkles.

Well I would write a recipe for love..
........The Recipe For Love............
Step One: add hugs and kisses every day
Second Step: Add patients ,and Understanding
Step Three: Be romantic and loving ALL the time
Step Four: Be there for each other be caring and listen to each other always
Step Five: Be There Best Friend
Step Six: have fun, Laugh, Play, Enjoy Each other company
Step Seven: Cuddle up every night and Say I Love You.
You can add your own twist to it but you get the basic idea.

Well..just a thought...
How about picking one of your favorite recipes from the book and placing all of the dry ingredients you can purchase (including seasoing) and placing it in a decorated basket/tin with the cook book inside as well and wrapped with a bow. Then on the inside of the book you can write that for now she can use your favorite recipe, and that you hope in the future she will be able to find a favorite of her own!

I would inscribe something like
"wishing you a lifetime of delicious meals and good company!"
or
"Eat drink and be merry for today you are married! Wishing you a happy ever after and many wonderful meals!"
That is a wonderful gift idea! I am sure they will love it.

Just write something that you would usually say. I would write in my own case, "These are some great recipes to get your lovely new kitchen started. Hope you and family to be enjoy them emesely." Just say some thing about how they are old recipes from your family and how you hope that she likes what you did.
