whether it is to tell people that they like them? or if they don't like them? why is it so difficult? insecurites?
i was just wondering, i am a confident, self-assured woman, and i could care less if i end up looking like a fool. at least i know where i stand and don't have to look stupid because i said or didn't say something.
am i the only one who feels like this?

well in my case the reason im afraid is becuase i dont want to hurt them when i never intend to, so you dont care if you look like a fool? hmm right. its not as easy said then done, ive had many cases where i was put in this position, my friend couldnt mind her own business and automatically set me up with a guy i hardly knew, my phone number was given to him, he called me that night, the next day he asked if we could be a couple, in my heart and mind i was like NO way, but i had trouble telling him this for a few minutes, when i said it wouldnt work out, he got mad and hung up on me, thats ONE of the reasons people have trouble coming forward

Yea, I know what u mean, I, myself, speak my mind, and a ver confident person. I get critized a lot for speaking the truth. Its not that hard just to tell someone what u think of them, or say what u dont like about a situation. If they dont like it..oh well..but then I dont get it , because then like people always talk about how someone is fake..yet they dont like it when the truth is told, straightforward. I just learn to say what at certain times...it can sometimes get u into trouble, because people take it personally...

you arent the only one that feels like this. and although what u say is true it isint true about other people. sometimes it is hard to say how you feel knowing that you might be rejected. so dont think about just what you think... think about it from another persons perspective. from a nerd asking out a hottie

exactly thats what i have been wondering for years. if someone say no who care. has anyone who has been said no to actually cry/care about it more than a day.

for me its 2 things:
1.) very low self esteem and confidence
2.) i fear rejection.......... it ties into the low confidence thing sadly i wish i could get over it but i just cant ans that sucks
