ps: every liquor store i go into sees the liscense says alcohol restricted... Even though the date on the license shows im 21. i need to know what paperwork/documents mva needs to see so i can change this license

You shouldn't need anything. Just go in explain that you turned 21 and want to get your license updated.

For others who have answered, I want to point out that they have started doing changing licenses for individuals who are under 21 or under 18. In Virginia, the under-21 license is up and down instead of horizontal.

Your old license should be enough. If not they may ask for other proof of identification, so just make sure you have your social security card on you and whatever other forms you have to identify yourself. When I turned 21 I waisted all my money in bars! Dont make the same mistake its not worth it!!!!! Good luck

what do you want to change. Your license should have your date of birth.
