i have a histry of eating disorders but i've been over that for months now. i eat healthily and i eat regularly, but i still find it a bit hard to eat as much as i normally should, but i do eat.
today, i had lots of pineapple with me - it tastes so refreshing. i also ate some melon.
she looked at me, and said, "Is that all? Where's your carbohydrate?"
She brings in cookies and puts it on my desk in front of me.
I eat alone in her classroom so it is a bit hard..
She also shut/locked the door so i cudnt get out, then she told me to eat it, and that i wont leave "unless i eat it."
She does this everytime now. I understand she might be concerned cos i had a history of anorexica but force-feeding me cookies?!
I ended up throwing it all up in the end.. thats the pineapple and melon down the drain.??
??..

i just want to be able to eat what i want to eat. the doctor says i am fine eating fruit for now and she told my parents that "at least i am eating".
But my parents rely on this teacher to help me to actually eat (i dont like eating in front of other people, or loads of people, around me.)
So i sit in her class-room or her office which is just her & me. I dont want cookies, i want healthy food.
Eating fruit makes me feel thin again,..but this teacher dusnt understand..xx

You should tell your parents that she is force feeding you. While it is fine for the teacher to check that you are eating the food that you brought, your parents should tell her that it is not necessary for her to bring any additional food for you. If it becomes a problem, you should let a school administrator know.

I think you should report her. That's way too invasive.
Sometimes I can go for two days without eating. I just fill up with coffee and beer, so at least I'm getting calories. I just don't feel hungry in the morning. So what I do is eat a small amount of cheese to get the digestion moving, then I can have some cereal or some yummy vegetables.
The other day I was so proud of myself, I cooked this sensational meal.
Slowly heat olive oil and butter in a pan. Smash some garlic and add to the mixture, heat slowly. Add mushrooms. Get a lean steak and cut into really small pieces, add to the pan. At this point you can turn up the heat because the mushrooms will have absorbed the garlic and you dont want to cook the meat for too long. You can add small strips of bacon if you want. Break two or three eggs into a cup, mix thoroughly, and pour over the other ingredients, cook rapidly for a minute or so, turning constantly. Serve on a bed of rice.
Okay, so the thought of all that might make you want to throw up, and you certainly can't eat that sort of thing every day. But honest to God, it's fantastic.

That is abuse, unless she was directed to feed you, this is not her job. And cookies are of no benefit, they're minimal carbs and mostly fat. Next time she does this, you have your right to say "no thanks", and if she persists just tell her that you are healthy and you are being watched by a doctor. If she persists, you have the right to leave the room. She is only a teacher, she's still a person and she doesn't have any special authority over you. You might want to bring a healthy alternative that fits her, "carbohydrate requirements". It's hard, but you could bring some grapenuts or shredded wheat cereal...here's a list of foods with carbs, http://web.mit.edu/athletics/sportsmedicine/wcrhighcarbs.html
She may have a history of an eating disorder, so maybe she thinks she can help you.

Talk to your Dr. and have him write a letter to the school Superintendent. NO ONE has the right to FORCE you to eat something that will make you sick or that you feel is unhealthy. Your parents should want what is best for you and should not put you in the position of being stressed over this. The teacher needs to be reprimanded, she obviously has no clue what you have been through and how this may have an effect on you now or in the future. She needs to see a shrink and get some good books to read!

Firstly, your teacher has no right whatsoever to behave in this manner. Secondly, she doesn't know what she's talking about. There are carbohydrates in fruit.
Cookies certainly aren't a great thing to feed you if you are overcoming an eating disorder. In fact, all that extra sugar and junk is just going to throw your system into a tailspin.
If she persists, tell your parents you want to switch to another school. Better yet - have your parents talk to your doctor or whoever is supervising your food rehabilitation and explain just how harmful and detrimental this teacher is being.
You can always ask to be home schooled, if there is no other school that would be convenient for you to attend, but it would be better to speak up and have this teacher stop behaving in this manner. She is 'way over acceptable behavior on this one. Did you know that her behavior constitutes assault? Locking the door and refusing to let you leave until you have acceded to her demand, is assault.

You have to tell your parents and the school counselors, principal, administrators or anyone that will listen. It is not your teachers duty to force feed you. More importantly your teacher has NO RIGHT to LOCK you in any ROOM. Your teacher doesn't have a PhD. in psychology or medicine. Don't let this get any worse. Speak up now.....
BTW congrats on managing your disorder!

Tell your parents, your doctor and anyone who will listen.
It does no good to eat something you dont want , just to rid yourself of it at the soonest opportunity. She should not force you to eat, she is not a doc. Although I'm sure she means well.

You need to be under psychological counseling, not being forced by a teacher to eat.

Tell her how you feel. Tell her you'll eat, you just want something healthy. Start bringing in something carb-y that is healthier than a cookie, so maybe she'll believe you.
