She got an ear infection because of ear mites that are now being treated with Revolution!

Why don't you ask a vet, since they are the only people qualified to give the answer? Presumably it was a vet who prescribed this treatment.
Yes, Surolan is a reasonable thing to prescribe for infection caused by ear mites.
