What your friend experienced was a demon spirit of suicide. For good teaching on this subject (demons and demonology)/spiritual warfare)browse the bookstore of international Bible teacher and scholar Derek Prince.

Yes, two.
I suspect it's impossible for some people to have spiritual experiences because such experiences require accepting your subjective (perceptual) experiences as if they are actually real. I have never been a Solipsist and cannot force myself to think as one -- except under extraordinary circumstances.
During my Hippie period, I abandoned my strict scientific view of the world and tried to actually achieve a religious vision. I succeeded twice. Once I "accidentally" took too much LSD, and once I went on a total fast -- no food, no water or other liquids. Both times I achieved a personal conversation with an apparition who identified Himself as God. Both visions seemed quite real as I was experiencing them, though the LSD version still seemed a bit "contrived." The water-fast vision was utterly indistinguishable from ordinary experience and was VERY convincing. If I had been a naive believer, unaccustomed to experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations, I would have been absolutely convinced that I had personally spoken with God.
After the visions occurred, I was unaffected spiritually because I obviously knew I had manipulated my own consciousness to achieve the visions. In the end, it was these experiences that led me to appreciate that believers are nothing more than people who erroneously assume their own subjective (perceptual) experiences are real.
For safety's sake, I must emphasize that water-fasts are extremely dangerous and that severe dehydration is nothing to play around with. Severe dehydration reduces a person's total blood volume and can trigger a sudden drop in blood pressure, which can trigger a severe shock reaction. I was young. I was dumb. I was lucky. Please don't try this at home.

Yes but in all honesty, no one would believe my story.
I know what happened, i was there, i felt it, i heard it.
I do feel that it was the Lords way of telling me "hey i'm here"
It was a serious and troubeling time for us, i was on the verge of losing our baby at 4 month gestation but as i say, no one would believe me in what happened.
Like the saying goes:
You can talk to the Lord, it's called praying.
But if the Lord talks to you, it's called insane!
But i know what happened, i told my husband and he believed me.
That's all that matters.

Not afraid to talk about exactly, but I rarely tell people a couple of things that God revealed to me. They either don't believe me, or get jealous. Sometimes the things He shows us, are just for us. It's hard though, when something is so incredible, shows how powerful and loving He is, you want to tell someone else.
By the way, I also have petty feelings about others' blessings. I have to pray to God to forgive me, and rejoice for others when they share a blessing (and not feel jealous). My flesh reacts that way too sometimes!

I saw a black man (not referring to race) wearing a flapping trench coat jump from a third floor window and land on his feet. I was sitting in my window sill and he looked up at me and stared at me for a long time, and then he casually walked away. I couldn't see his face though. Just the outline of his head. His face was cloaked in darkness. He should have been killed.
