My kitten is only two weeks old. Just yesterday I noticed that one eyes is open, and the other is closed. They were both open completely three days ago, though. Could it have been scratched in the eye by one of his brothers', or did it just close because he's not used to the light yet?

UPDATE: I think it possibly could be an infection, because when I dabbed it's eyes with a wet Q-tip it opened again, but later closed and it seems like his eyes get stuck together like glue. Could it be an infection? Should I take him to a vet?

that is fine
its like the way that you can have one foot bigger than the other
one has opened and the other hasnt nbd (no big deal)
you might want to ask a vet if it hasnt opened in a week
even if it is scratch it will fix itself rather quickly because of how young it is

I've had similar problems with kittens. Your choices are limited to 2 options. First option is to go to the vet. The second is to mix 1 cup of luke warm water with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and bathe the eye with a cotton ball. Be gentle! Remember that you're a bizzillion times bigger than the kitten. The saline solution will not harm the kitten as it washes itself or the mother cleans it. But, DO NOT use a bottled saline solution sold for contact lens wearers, too many other chemicals! And, remember that ignoring the issue will not make it go away.

Yes you should take him to a vet - you should always take an animal to a vet if you're worried!
Keep in mind that eye problem may be symptomatic over other respiratory/sinal problems and this is likely to spread to the rest of the litter.

Probably conjunctivitis (pink eye). You will be able to tell by the sticky stuff around the eye and even a cloudiness in the eye. You should take her to the vet to get some medicine,. My kitten would get this often.

This is totally normal. The eyes will open and close for the next couple of weeks. If one gets a little irritated, it'll close till it's healed. Don't worry.

He may have a scratch, conjuctivitis or feline herpes (which you cannot get). Any injury of the eye is considered an emergency and should be checked out ASAP.
