Make a presentation that explains the benefits of the piercing. Make a poster, and handouts. Also explain that you will pay for the upkeep and promise to take care of it.
Make a "Parent-kid contact" that both you and your parents sign stating that as long as you maintain the piercing and pay for the stuff yourself then they will let you get it. And if at any time if you fail to keep your side of the bargain, then you have to take it out.
I recommend making this like a formal presentation. Dress up. Then make a wonderful display and leaflets. It should look like u spent a lot of time on it.. not some stupid thing.
It shows your parents that your committed and responsible!
Hope this helps!

I had the same problem [kind of]
My dad doesn't care what I get piercied, but my mom really does.
I asked my mom if I could get my eyebrow done, she said no. That's what I really want and I'm getting it done when I'm 18. I asked her if I could get my monroe, she said no. I asked about my labret, she said no. I begged to get one of those for the longest time, and then when I started talking about them about a week ago, she said "What if you just got your nose done?" So I am for my next birthday=]
I would suggest you start talking about all these outrageous things you could get pieced so a nose piercing doesn't seem so bad in comparison. If he still says no, constantly talk about getting your nose pierced and how bad you want it. You could even print out pictures and put them in his room. Then, for your birthday BEG for a nose piercing. If that doesn't work, you just need to wait it out.
Good luck!!

Well maybe he feels that you are not old enough to take on the responcibility of a nose piercing. Also you really can not force them to say that. It is best to wait for it.

You can't force your parents to say yes. Ask your dad why not? Ask your mom to talk to your dad...and if that doesn't work just get it done - at least you know you'll only be 50% in trouble...

prove your responsible. make sure they fully understand how popular nose piercings have become, it wont be a problem with your professional appearance, etc.
but, you might just have to wait until you're 18, which is what i had to do for my labret. waiting sucks, but you'll love it even more when you get it after the wait.

i dont think its a good idea to get ur nose peirced but its ur decision sooo heres my advice:
act mature ALL the time, never beg or ask a lot just bring it up randomly and they might change their mind cuz theyll have time to think about it. Just
Give it time!
