She just got a cell phone and I am jealous. She is a sophomore and just turned 16. I'm a frshman but just turned 14 so if I get a cell phone, it will be in my junior year. She gets everything first! I'm the middle so I get things second and my brother gets most attention. Not to mention that my sister ges to about 50 White Sox games in the summer because her rich friend bought her season tickets. And she gets straight A's and went to state as a freshman in track. I'm just jealous and want to get over it. How? She calls from her room to the downstairs and is with her phone 24/7. OK, she sleeps with it too! It's ridiculous! I have to wait 2 more years for everything!

I think this is partly your parents' perception of your maturity and partly your own case of "middle kid syndrome".
When you are 16, you will graduate from being a kid to being a young woman. This is a coming-of-age thing... with age comes certain benefits. Your brother will wait longer than you will to get the "older kid" things that you will get.

The only thing you can do is find things at which you excel and work with those to get the recognition you crave. I would suggest either trying things your sister didn't do, so you won't be compared to her, or actually doing better at the stuff your sister got recognized for. Get into some clubs at school.

Fussing and moaning isn't going to get you anywhere.
