Relay for Life. I think people will remember the outpouring of community love and effort for a worthy cause.

Eating at the dinner table.

Praying together before meals.

Bible Study together

Christmas baskets for the needy

Visitation of the elderly and taking gifts.

Cleaning out closets and donating clothes once a year to charity.

Make it a point to donate to either or both the fire fighters and the police force. And donate regularly to your favorite charity for some it is diabetes, cancer, AIDS or MS.

These are the things that change lives. These traditions build character and make people just and good.

Since your question is in the language category. The answer is the language that I preserve. People need to learn the language to communicate and remember.

The Cherokee language. It's the one thing that makes us uniquely Cherokee.
