I wouldn't (and don't drink) when the adderall is in my system. Remember that adderall has a half life in hours so by the evening time, it will have been metabolized already and out of your system.

Adderall is a stimulant. Alcohol is a depressant. You could seriously mess up your neurotransmitters. You should talk to the doctor who prescribed the Adderall and find out the doctor's recommendations about alcohol consumption.

I am 27 y/o female. I started taking AdderallXR 20mg/day two weeks ago. I regularly have wine with dinner with my husband, and have not noticed any negative side effects in the past two weeks after consuming alcohol.

On another note, if there is anyone out there who would be willing to email back and forth to comment and/or vent about adult-ADHD and/or Adderall, I would be more than welcoming. I was "diagnosed" with ADHD just two months ago, after what my doctor called a "mis-diagnosis of depression" for the past 10 years.

I am a professional, educated, married woman with no idea as to how to deal with this new diagnosis. My personal email address is shaemz@yahoo.com. Thanks.

You can drink like a fish all night. The problem is that you don't realize you're as drunk as you really are. However, it makes you pretty kick-@$$ at playing beer pong!

Don't drink with any meds...you don't need it.
