"What animal did the giraffe evolve from?"

from another animal with short neck. As Darwin explained, natural selection chooses animals that are best able to feed on the highest treetops, where food is most abundant and competition minimal . Thats how giraffes evolved.

"the Bible says that God created man from the dust of the earth."

"Why not ask a legitimate question for a change, something you're honestly curious about"

how can Christians believe they came from dust but an ape cannot evolve after millions of years of transformation.?

We don't believe that.
We believe they were created as birds and reptiles and dinosaurs separately

I'm Christian. I do believe dinosaurs and reptiles may have become birds (although that is well outside my field, and about all I know about it comes from popularizations), but I do not reject evolution.

Pretty much destroys your question, hmm?

Oh, and just for the record - apes did not become human. Apes and humans had a common ancestor. A small difference, but a telling one.

Who said that Christians believe that dinosaurs and reptiles became birds? That's something you might here from an atheist or evolutionist, not from a Christian!

Come on. Quit tearing down straw men that you make in the vain imagination of your heart!

Why not ask a legitimate question for a change, something you're honestly curious about, rather than a scoffer's mockery?

What Christian believes that?
Evolutionist Storrs Olson, Curator of Birds, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, called evolution of birds from dinosaurs "one of the grander scientific hoaxes of our age—the paleontological equivalent of cold fusion."

Because God created all creatures. Ape and Human never mixed. We are made this way in God's perfect image. Humans are also connected to other species too. You forgot that? Evolution is made up by human from studies that are flawed or incomplete. Man makes mistakes, God does not. I trust God's creation more than I trust man's view.

Besides it is easy for Satan to deceive people by sight. By faith you will not be deceived. God Bless You!

You mean "creationists". Not all Christians reject evolution.

Of course, that doesn't stop the others from rejecting evolution based on the same old straw-man arguments, as you can see in this thread.

Sorry, I don't know any Creationist Christians that believe in evolution.

But maybe you can help me...

It has little to do with comprehension and much to do with faith. Christians believe in the Bible and the Bible says that God created man from the dust of the earth. That is not so far fetched when you consider that mankind returns to dust when he dies, so why can't evolutionists believe that?

You need to learn the definition of micro evolution (which is real) and macro evolution (which is not)

By the way I do not believe dinosaurs turned into birds, and do not believe most creationsists do.

I don't really understand your question. If someone believes that reptiles are the ancestors of birds, that makes them an evolutionist. I can't concieve of someone so dumb as to say that reptiles can change into birds, but evolution doesn't happen.

Just today there was a news story on the velociraptors of "Jurassic Park" fame. Arm bones of a raptor recently found had fletch nodules (bone attachments for feathers.).
