This does not sound like hypomania. Yes, hypomania does exist. Why do people answer questions when they have no idea what they are talking about? Anyway, I don't think this is hypomania or bipolar disorder. It could be ADHD, but I doubt it. Do you have someone in your family who has an illness or disability? It is possible that you are seeing someone (in your family or friends or on TV) that has an illness, and they get a lot of attention. Maybe you are just wanting to feel loved, like you see people demonstrating to them. It's hard to know without a lot of background information. If you are really worried about it go to a psychologist and get an evaluation.

Do the free professional online bipolar test at the link below. It is the same as a psychiatrist would administer and you will get a pretty good idea of whether bipolar is an issue or not. There is also a good link that helps explain whether someone has bipolar or ADHD. If you think you may be bipolar you can then go see an expert for diagnosis and treatment. I am bipolar and my mania ruined my life for a while, but now I have treatment and life is great again. Good luck and hang in there.

If you are questioning, go see a psychiatrist for an evaluation. Personally, and as someone with bipolar, you sound like someone with too much time on his hands, normal energy, and possibly seeking attention. Join a sport or group or something. Get outside, exercise. Most of the illnesses you mention don't come in stops and starts. Bipolar mood swings typically are constant for three weeks to months. *Most* people on Answers don't really know much about mental illnesses, they guess or repeat stereotypes, which is why this is a rather useless forum for diagnoses. You sound bright, so I'm guessing that you already know that.

How much coffee (caffeine) do you drink? Might be a side effect from that...or from something you're allergic to...or medicatioin. Maybe you 're hyper and need ritalin or something like that. Maybe you have RLS...restless leg syndrome. (Hope you're not doing street drugs etc.). Don't decide on a diagnosis until you've checked out the other possibilities. You need to go to a dr. if you can't find the answer...or when you do find the answer. Good Luck.

Diagnosis: hypochondriac
You have 2 months to live.
Unless you feel stomach pain? Do you now? Theres 1 month gone. 1 left. Wait, isn't your calf kind of tingling and aching now? Maybe theres a blood clot. Hmmm..there goes the rest of your time. Or maybe there's something wrong with your eyes and you're not really reading this. OR! maybe you're super dyslexic and are forming your own cryptic message out of these random letters.
Stop looking for things to be wrong with you and be glad that you're somewhat healthy and alive....lots of people don't have that opportunity. Move your "fix" onto something more productive like.....baking.

Your symptoms almost sound like ADD. You mention that you cannot stay still, and have a hard time concentrating. I would definitely go get this checked out.

you certainly sound bipolar to me, used to be called Manic Depression, because there are mood swings, Manic swings when you feel much as you describe here, and depressive swings when you are sad, or less manic at least. It will get worse as you age if you do not obtain treatment for it.

There is no such thing as a hypomaniac. Go to a mental health facility for an evaluation. You cannot expect people on yahoo answers to diaganose you.

you should join a sport or something, a way to let out all your energy in a positive way so you don't annoy your teachers. =P

Hmm, I honestly don't know... but thanks for opening my eyes to that. If it occurs in spurts, I might have something similar to it. Hope you get your issue sorted!
