DC i appologize if this question insulted you. I grew up in a Church that told me Demons were everywhere and controlling News Media, Politicians, Rock Musicians etcetera. It made for a frightening upbringing. I should have added detail. I too as a Child thought that i felt Demons around me, i believe now that was because i was TOLD that there were. I have not felt a "Demonic" presence since i gave up that belief system. Your question brought it back is all. Im sorry that you suffer discomfort like that no matter what its origin.

Doesnt your own Bible tell you that Satan has no love for those who hate God? Your assertation that Demons would only bother Christians is invalid. Why would a Demon make you feel like it was going to cut you open..... in hopes of turning you to his side?

My daughter (who's 21) recently informed me that she has been suffering from sleep paralysis for years. Its really damn freaky, I almost with I could experience it, once just to see.
She, naturally, never attributed it to anything other than bad dreams until she studies a bit more and found out about SP.

If they aren't religious then why would a demon need to kill them? That's what the demons are trying to do make people not be religious so why kill someone thats doing what you want?

Because they realize it's just a dream. They would probably still call them demons, but realize that demons aren't real and could only exist in their dream state.

I am a born again spirit filled christian. I have seen at least one demon as an adult, and several angels.

There is a video going around of 4 atheist's (ex now) death experiences of going to hell...They are no longer non-religious.
I'm a bit skeptical, but I guess that could be the reason. of course psychology/biology all have explanations for everything...
