Migraines and Sinus problems can go hand in hand for some people. I am one of those people. It took my doctors years to beleive me that it was not pain from just sinuses!!!! Usually if I am suffering from bad sinus pain, I will most likely get a migraine. I have gone a whole day suffering with pain and taking every simus med under the sun and have it not work. Then is progresses into a deeper headache and I take an Imitrax injection and the damn thing is gone in 10 minutes. I suffered all day for no reason. It was both kinds of headaches and both kinds of pain but the Migraine med worked for both.

Migraines are generally in one of the temples. However, a sinus headache or congestion can TRIGGER a migraine, in which case, you would feel pain not only in the temple, but in the sinus areas as well.

I know -- I get them CONSTANTLY, myself.

You can get sinusitis, which causes tenderness and pain in that area. Generally its caused by an infection which can be treated with a course of antibiotics. See your doctor for a prescription.

In the short term pain can be relieved by inhaling steam from hot water which has had menthol crystals added to it. You can get these from the chemist.
