As a teenager my dad had a friend with extravagant tastes, and one day he brought caviar. Well being the curios type I asked if I could try it.The look on my dads face was priceless but he said if the friend said ok, then I could, but he cautioned me to take a VERY small bite. Well, I was told sure and handed the caviar (Black) on a cracker, took one little bite and almost gagged, was literally eating raw fish eggs, very salty, slimey and GROSS!! Was later informed is an acquired taste....lol

I've eaten it on crackers and on sushi. I think it was better on sushi because I didn't like the texture by it self.

I've had it a few times and I do like it. But not enough to justify buying it. It's like little salty fishy balls that sort of pop in your mouth.
