I did my own Mohawk 22 years ago. What I did was cut the hair very short on the sides first and then I shaved the rest off with an electric leg razor. Have a friend help you to keep it straight.

p.s. don't forget to take pictures. That's the one thing I regret is not having enough pictures. People who know me today can hardly believe that I did it.

1.find a Mohawk (if you are a man you want a girl Mo. if are a woman a boy Mo.)2. if the Mohawk is willing, you and the Mohawk knock boots for a while and if you are lucky, in nine months you have made a Mohawk.
but sorry to say if you are not a Mohawk yourself, you only made one half of a Mohawk.

NO !! NO !! NO ! People you got it all wrong here......To make a PROPER Mohawk takes 2 or mor helpers and a few days. Do the following steps.
1. you and helpers find an ice cold waterfall (this is important)
2 STICK head in waterfall till NUMB.
3. Helpers pull out hair leaving a strip down the center 2-3 inches wide at frount. tapering to an inch at nap of neck.
hair length is to tast 2 to 4 inches.
4. train hair to stand up by useing liberal amounts of BEAR GREASE.
By the way Bear grease can be smeared over exposed parts of body to help keep warm in winter.
NOTE: keep a goodly supply of willow bard to chew for pain.

first your hair has to long enough that u can see your bangs
then just get a lot of gel and a come first come it to one side and then come it to the opposite side and u got a Mohawk

Its easy if you realllly want one!
All you do is shave both sides of your head and leave a strip of hair down the middle, once you've done this...just use gel and spike it up, W00T! Now you have a MOHAWK!

shave it to a mohawk and get it to stick up with egg whites hair spray and get gell(hold formula).

shave the sides of your head...use knox gelitan and aquanet hair spray to make it stand up. egg whites and glue are too messy. and gels and just hairspray alone doesnt work
