if you believe that there is a god and that he, she, or it controls everything, how would define coincidence? is there any such thing, or is it just a made up idea?

I call it Synchronicity. It doens't need a God in order to happen.

What's God got to do with coincidence? Its just a way humans deal with probability and humans aren't always rational - look at how people treat the concept of 'luck' and misunderstand things like winning streaks in statistical maths.

Coincidence is certainly a real phenomenon but only because of the human perception - thats something you think has a small chance of happening, happens - usually two things in parallel - like hi bob, what a coincidence we both went down the street today.

Isn't it a coincidence that you asked this question and I answered the exact same question- whoah...

Coincidence does not exist Everything is our blue print when we arrive here Oh many things happen and we think what a coincidence BUT its NOT God is not stupid Far from that

coincidence , brain picking up and recognising patterns that fit and dismissing anything that does not fit into the pattern or sequence of events.
