It is a silly game some of the people on this forum play.

Because some questions get asked so many times here, over and over again, the people who play the "drinking game" will take a drink whenever they see that same question come up once more.

It is a joking way to try to keep ourselves amused when dealing with the same questions we have seen many times before.

It is what is known as a "drinking game".

At parties, sometimes people will play a game where everyone is supposed to take a drink of wine, or beer, or sake, or whatever they have in their glass, whenever someone loses the game, or whenever a certain event happens. The game can be anything, cards, chess, a trivia contest, a game that someone just made up, or whatever, but the one rule for ALL drinking games is that the loser of the game has to take a drink.

The first person who gets drunk loses.

It's not Americans.

It is a reaction to obnoxious people asking the same question dozens of times, questions others have asked hundreds of times and are stupid everytime.

i don't have faith human beings say drink whilst they answer questions. What you need to be asking is what the be conscious drink potential? To drink is to take water or yet another fluid into your mouth and swallow it... specially circumstances it refers to ingesting alcohol. some human beings might ask in case you drink, yet they don't look to be asking in case you drink fluids, they're asking in case you drink alcohol. it ought to propose the two.

This question was asked just a few mintes ago :)

It's a response to trite questions. It has nothing to do with being American. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AlUgE1NqK4d.DpZBj8U5lfjsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20070921132521AAs6Bxd&show=7#profile-info-UtAlZD15aa
