When I was younger I would always dream and that I had got up out of my bed and walked downstairs?

I could seem everything - furniture etc., but things were fuzzy - I have asked other people if they had experienced this and none of them has. Could I have been having out of body experiences as a youngster? I have always wondered. Has anyone else had these dreams?

I had one occurrence that may have ben a out of body experience or perhaps a dream I'll never know for sure but I don't discount such things.

If the scene was fuzzy, it wasn't an 'out of the body' experience. Most who experience that are awestruck by the vividness, and thereby insist that it couldn't be a dream.

In your dream, you were going somewhere familiar, comfortable. The fuzziness, I expect, is the clue that it was all truly a dream. If your imagination isn't sure to what end or the full context of the setting, then it can't decide on a clear image to use. But then there may be other things, things you considered inconsequential but that really were. Voices or sounds might be telling the story, things were fuzzed up because the visual aspect was not the important one. Finally, ask if you've ever been observed sleep walking. Sombnambulism adds the fact of being there with the fact of being asleep, so the blurry image was simply that your eyes weren't focussing, because you really were asleep. What you have described isn't really strange, so don't worry about it, okay?

On more than 1 occasion I have dreamt that I had woken up, got ready for work and gone out of the house. All the time I was sleeping. The shock when you do wake up is gross, and you end up late for work/school.
