I have low grade dysplasia and HPV after having a coloposcopy and a leep procedure earlier this year. It has returned and I want to get a second opinion from a gynecological oncologst since my regular doctor is not really a specialist in this.

I haven't really paid attention until now about which Hospital is the best to go to, since they all run commercials that say they are the best according to some award or magazine article.

Which Hospitals in Chicago are the best in achieving cures in Cancer treatment, especially cervical cancer?

I live in the Chicago area of the United States. We are well known for having some of the best hospitals in the world. Try a teaching hospital. Alot of times they have the cutting edge technology that you may need. Good Luck!

Hi Lauren,

The U of Chicago is the best in Chicago and is currently ranked # 7 on the U.S. News & World Report’s list of the best cancer treatment centers. That being said, there are some lower rated cancer centers that do a better job treating a specific type of cancer than some of the higher rated ‘all type’ cancer treatment centers.

The best to you………

I know Northwestern Memorial Hospital's doctors are excellent for cancer specialties. They are very thorough and caring. There's also that Cancer Treatment Center, but I think that's in the suburbs of Chicago.

Block Medical Center in Evanston! I have seen patients given three months to live and have been living for the past 10 years!! It is a holistic cancer center meaning it centers around healthy lifestyles and chemotherapy. They offer things like nutritional counseling, accupunture, massage therapy, and so on. They are very well known and the doctors here are wonderful. Best of all it doesn't feel like a doctor's office, and when recieving chemo therapy you are in your own private room in a big comfy lounge chair. (i could go on and on) if you would like more info just email me.

good luck.

You are only a few short hours away from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN... It usually serves some of the most distinguished names of the World. Just last week Bush Sr. was there.
