He just wanted to prove that a lawsuit can be filed against anyone. There are a group of lawyers trying to get frivelous law suits banned and he is simply demonstrating that we should have the right to sue anyone we wish...even God.

I absolutely loved the answer and believe it whole heartedly- we were created with free will! We do this to each other, not God!
Maybe he should start a lawsuit against the negative, close minded and criminal aspects of the human spirit?!

I don't know the whole story, but I wonder if the "Plaintiff" wins, how will they collect?
It just shows, once again, how some people will make a mockery out of God to make a point or start some crap.
It's things like this that we have to turn the "other cheek" to, wipe our feet and move on. We can find better things to talk about :-)

That is a sad situation. People are always looking for something to blame God for. We are not to question God, only trust Him. He allows things to happen for a reason. We should be Praising Him, and thanking Him for all the things, He has done for us.

I think the senator is just trying to prove a point, namely that you can sue anyone for anything.
