I want to ask this guy to homecoming, but...?

We aren't very good friends. I met him this year and hes a year older than me, and we are in one class together. We sometimes talk...
But what if people talk about us? Cause we would be kind of a random couple....

should i ask him?

Who cares if people talk about you? There won't even be mucht o talk about yet if you're just asking him to homecoming.


So yes, ask. I've done it, and never regretted it. I'll tell you my method:

Next time you talk to him, ask if he's going to homecoming. (Not an intrusive question-- very innocent.)

If he says no, say you were hoping you could go with him. Now it all depends on what he says.

If he says yes, ask him if hes going with someone.

If yes, ask who. That's it, back off.

If no, say good, because you were hoping you two could go together.
