I know I'm late answering this question but I had to answer it anyways,,, my car was stolen years ago and while in the middle of calling the police my car came pulling up at a restaurant that we went to, I lost my mind because when you work hard for nice things and someone comes a long and takes it will make people do crazy things, I ran outside to take the law into my own hands and get MY car back, He ran over me with MY car and almost killed me, I had road rash down the entire side of the right side of my body, a concussion, the knot on the back of my head was the size of a softball, my pelvic was broken in 4 places, and my tail bone was also broken... It's not cool taking other peoples stuff,, sorry to hear about your bag.

I was going to reply "my youth" for a laugh but reading the details makes me feel for you - I would hate that and would take some time to get over it - that's normal.
Hope it all gets sorted out - the police are normally pretty good and will advise what to do.
Don't keep going over how it happened in your mind though - it has happened but do talk about it and tell us - that helps! It could happen to anybody and shows us all that we need to be careful. I thought mine had been stolen once but I had left it in the ladies and somebody 'phoned me up later to tell me that it had been handed in - after I had told the police and so on.Then I had to tell everyone it was alright and cancel the locksmith!Whoever handed it in is the other side of humanity - the majority I feel.
Keep calm - can't you 'phone someone to come and be with you just for tonight?

Yup once I left my purse in my homeroom for a day so the next day I go to get my purse and my purse is open and my MP3 player is stolen. I cried so much that day.

Jo Im really sorry for you. Since you got your cards stolen I would immediately call the company and check that nothing was bought with that card. Just a word of advice.

Lol, outside an Asda? Hahaha, I'd love to have seen the bus drivers face when he/she got back and saw the bus gone! Lol When I was about.. 9/10 I remember seeing this little keyring wrench. I thought it was sooooo cute. It was left on a desk in this clothes shop. It wasn't an item on sale or anything. And I just took it, pretended to just be playing with it as we walked out of the shop. I felt so bad. Tried to avoid that shop for weeks after.. lol. Never stole anything else. -S-

first of all gosh i'm sooo sorry that happend to you. it IS the worst feeling ever. you feel violated, is the best word i can think of.

yes i had a few thing's stolen from me in my life time thus far.

i have been a victim of identity theft. i use to go out clubbing a lot. the club i went to didnt allow for mass id's so i had to get a liqour licence. however i lost it. 5 years later. i'm sitting in my home. i got a phone call from verizon the collection dept. they wanted their money for the cell phone bill. well i didnt have a cell phone. that's how i knew some one used my id to set up phone service for them selves. i pulled up a credit report. 4 different company's said that i signed up for cell phone's. NOT ME.

to this day. i still get T Mobile rejection letters. the women is still trying to use my id to get stuff in my name. my son has a t mobile prepaid cell phone but that is paid up front and doesnt need an account. so it's this person trying to sign up for an account.

another time. it was pay day. i guess i dropped a 20 bill. this guy smiled right in my face. i thought he was being nice and freindly. come to find out that while he was giving me a warm smile he stuck his foot out at the same time stepped on the 20 picked it up and left. the bad thing was, i got paid at that time little to nothing, i had a baby to feed and this guy stole from us. very upsetting.

just try to remember that there are a lot of nice wonderful people out there but just as much jerks. keep your purse on the table, or next to you. never under the table. that's just how you have to think. it stink's to have to have a suspicious mind but, if you want to keep your stuff dont give any one the doubt that they will take your stuff.

so sorry hang in there me mona

Im so sorry to hear of your loss, but yes, I have been a victim as well. Because of the loss of your keys, you will have to change the locks in your house, an additional expense. Get in touch with credit card companies, etc. Remember, this person now has your identity, so protect yourself as well as you can, and hope that they get caught. I got my wallet back 6 months later because the guy tried to use my drivers lisence, and the cop didnt think he looked like me. LOL.

I'd be upset, too. Many things have been stolen from me. Make sure you get a stop payment on your checks & notify the banks of your missing bank cards, & put in an incident report with the police.

Yes, several things out of my car and my home. Also at work. It shocks me when this happens. I wonder about the person who does stuff like this and think I might be really shocked about some of them.
