Should Christians play Runescape. I am a Christian and read that it had spells and demons in it. If it does I do not want to play.

It does have spells in it. If it's something that you think would bother your conscience, then do not play it. Remember, it is better to do more than enough and go to sleep with a clear conscience, then to not do enough and become bothered by it all the time. Sleep well and play another game.

it has spells and monsters. i think you are mature enough to look at it and say "this is a game, not real life" right? you will be fine. i don't know of anyone who has played a video game with spells and then gone into the front yard and cast spells at their neighbors, magic just doesnt exist. God, gave you a creative and mature mind, use them and have fun.
if it makes you feel better, ushually in these games your useing the "spell" like a canon to shoot the "monsters" or demons. i don't think god would have a problem with it personally.

It certainly has spells in it. I don't know about demons. If that bothers you it is best you stay away. If you are mature enough to believe that it is just a game and that you are not casting real spells and practicing real magic then you will be ok. If you are under age you should discuss it with your parents.

I know people who feel one shouldn't. I don't necessarily agree with them. A man I dated some years ago said that, for him, it was a matter of how they were used. If, for instance, the fireball spell was functionally equivalent to a bazooka, then he was fine with it. If the game called for what appeared to be acts of worship, then not.
You'll have to make this call on your own. Remember - you're under grace, not under the Law.
