Well, if you're going to ask that, THEN you have to ask why did that part of God then return to sit at the right hand of Himself, instead of rejoining the God-body?
So it isn't 3 IN one anymore even then, it's only 2 in one still. God is sitting beside....God. Okay, sure.
Christians say "to explain the Trinity, think of yourself as being more than one thing yet one. For instance you can be a mother, a wife, and a daughter all at the same time, yet you're one person."
Right. Ok, so let's see how this works.
Even though I am at once a mother, a wife, and a daughter, well you know the mother part of me got up, separated itself from the rest of my being, and walked around the earth for 33 years, talking, eating, and even being killed, and then went to the "underworld" for 3 days, then returned to the rest of my being -- but sits over there next to me instead of rejoining my original being.
Uh, yeah. The logic in a Dr. Suess book makes more sense than that.
Can you say "ancient pagan mythology"?

God the father.
The three Persons appear in a logical, causal order. The Father is the unseen, omnipresent Source of all being, revealed in and by the Son, experienced in and by the Holy Spirit. The Son proceeds from the Father, and the Spirit from the Son. With reference to God's creation, the Father is the Thought behind it, the Son is the Word calling it forth, and the Spirit is the Deed making it a reality.
The three persons of the Godhead are, at the same time, noted in such Scriptures as Isaiah 48:16:
"I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, there am I; and now the Lord God, and his Spirit, hath sent me."
The speaker in this verse is obviously God, and yet He says He has been sent both by The Lord God (that is, the Father) and by His Spirit (that is, the Holy Spirit).
The New Testament doctrine of the Trinity is evident in such a verse as John 15:26, where the Lord Jesus said:
"But when the Comforter is come whom I will send unto you from the Father, He shall testify of me."

God made guy in his very own photograph 3 in one the father= the recommendations, the Son= the physique, and the Holy spirit= the soul. and via the three days between the crucifixion and the resurection, an identical God grow to be there for the period of that factor as is there something of the time. guy is 3 in one so it merely is clever that God may be 3 in one considering that we are made in His photograph

The Father is in Heaven. The Son was kicking Satan's a** and freeing the captives in Hades. The Spirit abides within every Believer. One God, three functions.

God the Father was in heaven, as He is now, seated on the throne.
God is Omnipotent, which means He is ALL Powerful. He is able to do things that man cannot.
When God chose to come to earth and take upon Himself the form of a man, did He have to leave heaven to do so?

Jesus did not return to heaven on the third day. He remained on earth for another 40 days and nights before He ascended. God the Father(spirit) has always been in heaven.

Just as we are three mind, body, soul God is Three. During the three days before resurection Jesus was in Hell getting the keys to the martrys that until that time was not able to be in heaven. The Holy spirit is what I feel the presence you feel on earth or in the spirit world, God is always seated on his throne in Heaven until he fights the ultimate fight during Armegeddon were he is on a white horse.

30. Jesus said, "Where there are three deities, they are divine. Where there are two or one, I am with that one."
Know this then. There is the soul of God the Father, which is spread through all living beings like jigsaw peices in a puzzel. Yet to join them as one requires the Holy Spirit, such that each peice of the puzzel fits to make the image whole, together, and one.
The father makes the sons and so they are the same. The second is the Holy Spirit which unites the father with the sons/daughters. All those who claim the son and father are separate deities err, because the father made the son out of himself.
