Use a good shaving cream, maybe even Edge Sensitive Skin, and a great, sharp razor. My daughter swears by Venus. Soak in the tub in warm/hot water for 10 mins before you shave, and moisturize with a sensitive skin cream lotion afterwards.

I had the same problem, this is what helps me:
1. Get in the shower and wash your hair etc. just wait a few minutes as it opens up your pores and softens the hair.
2. Get out of the shower and pat your legs dry quickly so that the having cream adheres better.
3. Take a blob of shaving cream/gel and apply to your leg.
4. Take a razor (Venus Gillette is excellent and worth the money as blades don;t have to be replaced as often) don't use a really blunt one.
5. Take slow strokes going easy on the knees and rinse between each stroke.
6. Rinse any remaining shaving gel/cream off and dry legs.
7. Apply moisturiser regularly as legs get dry easy.
I know this sounds like a lot but it's basically just using shaving gel and shaving etc.
Good luck :)

1. Make sure you are using a thick shaving creme. (the ones with moisturizers in them work really well)
2. Use a sharp nice NEW razor (like a Venus)
3. Make sure that you shave your legs the way the hair comes up. This will prevent a razor rash.
4. Enjoy your new smooth legs!

I have heard that it depends on what you use to glide you razor down your legs..lol Such as shaving cream. I don't think it really matters what kind as long as it is thick. Also always use a sharp razor i never use mine more than 3 times before i change it. The blades get dull and can cut you then. Also make sure you do it after a shower or bath so your pores/hairs are soft and open that way there is not so much friction. i have found that if you use a body scrub before you shave on your legs and underarms it also helps remove more hair and cuts down on nics and razor burn.

Get a really good sharp razor. Like the Venus. They cut so close and you don't have to worry about stubble left behind like you do with the cheap disposable razors. I shave my legs with soap in the shower after I have washed my hair. Works great.

I just got a free sample of the ladies intuition (I think thats the name - its at home) and I love it.
It is the razor with 3 blades and the conditioning bars on the top and bottom of the razor. I use it in the shower and It works great!

i don't use shaving cream at all... the best thing i've found was for men... it's a cream they use to shave their face. It has a little manly smell, but works great.

MAke sure the room is warm and you really soap your skin...rub it with a scrub mitt first and make sure there are no goose bumps.
