I know that the chances for ordinary people (people who are not wealthy) to have a meaningful and happy life in many parts of the world are about "0". There is no other place on the planet which offers as many opportunities or which rewards an individual for his contributions like the USA. I know that my lifestyle and standard of living is far better than that enjoyed by any monarch in any time in history prior to the 20th century - and I am not a rich man. I can even complain about the government and try with all my might to get that current clown out of the white house. I feel like I owe a debt to all who built this great nation.
