How about homemade pizzas.

User can biscuits or english muffins.
Pizza sauce (simple recipe at bottom)
Shredded Cheese
Toppings - Pepperoni, Hamburger meat, sausage, veggies

Pre Heat over to 375. Wash hands good.

Have each person smash out their biscuits between their hands. Put about a tablespoon of sauce on each one, add cheese and toppings.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until biscuits are done and cheese is melted.

Pizza Sauce:

1 15 oz can Tomato sauce
2 tbsp Italian Seasoning

Mix well.

Make a nice pot of chili and serve it with a tossed salad.

CHILI (for 5)

2 lbs hamburger
3 cans kidney beans - drained
4 cans tomato sauce
1 small can mushroom pieces and stems - drained (if you like mushrooms which I love)
1 pkg Chili Seasoning mix or Chil-O Mix

Brown the ground beef and drain off the fat. Pour the beans, tomato sauce, meat, and mushrooms into a pot. Sprinkle in the seasoning packet and stir well. Bring to a boil, turn down the heat to a simmer, and simmer for 30 minutes.

It's very good served over rice!!! And that would give you your complete protein since rice is a partial protein and beanrs are a partial protein.

You serve it with a nice tossed salad and pass the soda crackers!! If you have any leftovers, they are even better the next day. And they are wonderful in an omelet!!

I had this soup that was really good what you do is chop up all types of veggies and stuff and make some rice and Chicken Broth (the canned is good). Then you put the rice in a bowl and put what ever you want on the top ie. carrots, radishes, onions, celery. Then you put on some bacon followed by cheese then pour over the broth (make sure its hot enough b/c it basically steams any of the veggies and melts the cheese) And enjoy. Its actually really simple. And really good.

Here is my standby for a quick and cheap meal.

fry 4-6 chicken boneless chicken breasts in 2 Tbs oil. Salt and pepper them to taste ( I also like to add a bit of Italian seasoning or poultry seasoning too). Remove from pan.
Then add 1 can either cream of mushroom/cream of broccoli or cream of chicken soup plus 1 1/2 cups water. Bring to boil. Add 2 cups minute rice and 1 1/2 cups frozen broccoli. cover and cook on low for 5 minutes. Place chicken back on top of rice and simmer 10 minutes.

4 squash cut in small pieces
half of onion cut in small pieces
1 large tomato
1 garlic cut in very very small pieces (you could use garlic powder instead)
a little bit of cilantro
1 tsp of oil
1 cup of cheese cut in little pieces (not too small)

put the oil on a pan until it heat up then add the squash and live it for like 6 to 8 minutes, then add the garlic and the onion (you can put salt or knor suiza)and leave it cook until the onion is cooked (about 2 or 3 minutes) then add the tomato, cilantro and cheerse, mix everything until the chees is melt (another 2 or 3 minutes) and enjoy

you can company it with a cambell soups, salsa and corn tortillas
