Then Mormons are sooo sure that the Holy Spirit tells them the Mormon book is true?
Why does the Holy Spirit in Bible based Christian Churches confirm the Mormon book wrong?
Yet the Mormons believe the feeling in their bosoms tells them that the Mormon is true?
That they are two different Spirits. Not the same Spirit as the Holy Spirit is One Spirit & will not contradict Gods Word..

brian, I am not a liar. I am an honest person. I asked this question by permission of the Holy Spirit. It is an old issue with me. One that made my mormon neighbor friend hurt me years ago.

fbjohn, Thanks for your interesting answer. But I was desperate (in a breakdown) when I went to the front of the Church to be prayed for. The Pastor prayed for me & I praised God in tongues & my hands reached straight up to heaven. I was in Gods love bubble to home. At home the Holy Spirit had me bring a mormon book out of my closet & drop it, then throw it away. Then had me take out a zion magazine from my mother n law. But I opened it to a comment about about the anointing that I received is the spirit of truth & would lead me into all truth. I didn't have a bible at the time. But this was similar to 1Jn2:27. The Holy Spirit said I could trust the Spirit of the Holy Bible. So? That is the first night I slept soundly all night for about a year. I was healed from the breakdown where I couldn't sleep or wake for a year. Now I could sleep soundly again.
I am 100% sure this is the promise found in 1Jn2:27.

Even if Jesus did write another book, (and I know He did not)He would not contradict Himself~His Word is truth, He is the Truth and He is the Word -Last will and Testament
I would ask the Mormons to read the Bible, New Testament, and then the Book of Mormon and see for themselves where the discrepancies are
they have asked another spirit to come in and it has deceived them and they should ask Jesus to show them the truth
The Holy Spirit does not speak of Himself, He always points to Jesus
we are not to worship angels, Jesus is the cornerstone of The Church (true body of Christ)
Spirit of Truth
The Truth Book, (the Bible gives us this:
If I or an angel preach any other Gospel than that of Jesus Christ, let him be anathema

You're right! How CAN those Mormons be the only ones who feel that it is true? Because it IS!!!
Oh and, that's not the Lord's spirit telling you the Book of Mormon is not true...sorry. The Lord would never lead us away from the light and truth. He can't. He reveals truth.
Are you asking the Lord if it is TRUE or if it is false???
I believe that the great decevier, satan, is the one who causes confusion, fear, doubts...he leads us away from the truth, not the Lord. He will cause those feelings, not the spirit. The spirit will help you discern between truth and untruth, BUT if your mind is already made up you think something is wrong, the spirit cannot MAKE you know it is right.
And what is this feeling of it being wrong? Seriously, I am wondering...how you are feeling when you feel it is wrong?
I know you have asked lots of questions about feeling the spirit and it is clearly on your mind... there is in my opionion a different spirit felt when it is not the Holy Ghost... that different spirit causes us to question things in a way we normally wouldn't, to be confused, to have serious doubts... that is satan. Maybe you don't want to hear that, but that is my opinion. I believe Satan is the one who makes a person feel that the Book of Mormon just "can't be true" and "there's just too much I don't understand"... that all leads to doubt and then disbelief. That is not how God teaches.

You've had a few questions along this topic now. Have you not yet recevied the answer you want? I'm wondering if your implying that we do not have the Holy Spirit, but some other spirit? I also wonder how many "Bible based" Christians have actually read the Book of Mormon with an open mind, pondered, and prayed about it, and have still felt the witness that it was wrong, as oppossed to ones that have listened to others and felt that it was wrong.
I believe that the Holy Ghost has witnessed to me of its truthfulness and I can't really comment on any others experiencing because of the personal nature of revelation through the Holy Spirit.

I am saddened to see such nonspiritual views here by both the Bible believers and by the Book of Mormon believers.
I Thes 5:19-21 tells us that the Holy Spirit wants us to test everything and to ACCEPT that which is good, beautiful and true. We are to read all sciptures openly first, pray for enlightenment and not pre-judge them. I find some truths to share from all major world scriptures in use today.
The Spirit of Truth and the Holy Spirit both and as One Combined Holy Father-Son-Spirit of Truth always teach us to "LOVE our enemies"; and thus this includes all of the EQUALLY Christian (in alphabetical order) Catholics, Christian Science, Jehovah's Witnesses, Jesusonians , LDS-Mormons, conservative and liberal and moderate Protestants, Quakers, Seventh Day Adventists and many others. All of these Christians are individually EQUALLY LOVED INFINITELY by our REAL GOD of love !!
JESUS said, when being nailed to the cross of unspeakable torture: "Father, forgive them; for they know NOT what they do." This shows His Infinite LOVE !! Then John 12:32 !!!
The Living Jesus Christ here fully in Spirit (John 16:7-16) is love-calling all of us who love Him to cease this ungodly condemnation of our EQUAL Christian Brothers and Sisters in the Family of God ! If you all do not unite soon, you know what will happen ... either Islam or secular humanism will win over the world. Would that be better?
Count the cost of not obeying Jesus Christ here and now.
Jesus unites, many human-made-up doctrines and creeds divide us Christians into now 38,000 or more different contending and competing religious groups !
Peace and progress,
Brother Dave, a Jesusonian Christian Truthist

some examples I surely have seen on right here and someplace else are: • We worship Joseph Smith • We have faith God had actual intercourse with Mary to beget Jesus • We have faith in "yet another Jesus" (i'm basically conscious that there replaced into ever one) • We have faith in salvation through works, somewhat than faith those are basically the main basic ones. I surely have seen some fairly loopy stuff; one guy or woman even stated that Mormons are not allowed to bypass water. I purely appeared at Sandra Tanner's website, and indexed under are the only million/2-truths I surely have got here across purely on the FAQ website. element 3 says we have faith that celestial marriage is mandatory to earnings eternal existence. not so. We have faith that celestial marriage is mandatory for exaltation, yet all and sundry could have eternal existence. element 4 says: "Mormonism teaches that the God to whom they pray is yet certainly one of an finished sequence of gods who at one time have been mortal then improved to godhood. The LDS Church teaches that their Heavenly Father replaced into as quickly as born as a spirit baby of a god and spouse who ruled a different international. After maturing as a spirit being he replaced into despatched to a different international the place he replaced into born as a human. There he grew to adulthood, married, died, replaced into resurrected, went to heaven, improved and at last became the God of our international." properly, which would be doctrine someplace, yet I surely have been a member for sixteen years and that i've got in no way been taught that.

Two questions:
1) Have you sincerely read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it is true or not, with an open heart? (be honest)
2) It is strange that millions have read and prayed and gotten a spiritual confirmation of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, but you got the opposite answer... That makes me wonder about question (1) above.

It tells you this because you are not ready to accept the true church of Jesus Christ into your life yet. You are not ready to make the changes that you must to become a true follower of Christ. Until then the spirit still guides you in a positive direction until you are ready.

There are so many doctrines of Mormonism that are unscriptural, I don't know how to begin. I would suggest reading the book "Lifting the Veil of Polygamy". It should be available in bookstores now. (Sorry, I can't remember the author.) It will give you great insights into what is wrong with the Mormon religion and why it doesn't jive with the Bible.
You are correct in that the Holy Spirit is One with the Father and the Son, and they NEVER contradict each other. So if you find any new teaching that contradicts Scripture (The Bible), then you know it is a false teaching. The Holy Spirit Himself inspired the very writers of the Bible. Joseph Smith claimed to have gotten his "inspiration" from an angel. But even Satan can manifest himself as an angel of light, and lead people astray, so we need to test the doctrine.

I doubt you have read, studied and prayed about the book of mormon - but that being said - the Holdy Ghost will only provide confirmation of the truth on questions that you sincerely ask about. Search your heart first, before you come here to insult others.
and find a new question

It's not just the book of mormon, why do people read the Qu'ran and know it is true, and the Bible and know it is true, ect ect ect with all religions.
