I care i know is really painful for a lot of families i'm a military wife and i'm dem proud of my soldier i think only military family's, relatives, or close friends are the only ones that really know the pain inside, because only we know how it feels to be away from our love ones, praying to god everyday for them and all the soldiers, only we know how it feels like to cry everiday.

A lot of people care on both sides of the issue-if you really care so much then why post things like that question that do nothing but stir up people on both sides. Every one in both parties are doing nothing but playing politics with the troops lives and yes that is all of them both parties and they both should care more about the troops then making sure they get elected. Unfortunately they don't and too many people here are more concerned about "being right", having who they see as the great hope for peace elected or seeing who they get angry then actually standing for something-Just because you are against something doesn't mean you are for anything. If the Congress were as serious about ending it as they talk then it would be done-they are just playing politics and then can wring there hands and talk about how they are trying but just can't do it until after the elections. BS-They could but won't because they want to win the election a lot more then they care about any military personnel.

Maybe if you would look up off your nose instead of down your nose you would see clearly. We care for our troops because they are doing what MUST be done. Will you only understand if a bomb goes off here in the states and your family is ripped apart? That is presicely what our troops are trying to avert. If we can keep the terrorist on the field of battle and away from you , then their job and supreme sacrifice are not a waste of time as most of your ilk seem to think. But all you can do is be small minded. I agree..1 life is a tragedy! I lost my next door neighbor in April so I know All too well about losses in this war. Remember this ...we didnt start this fight as some pinko commie liberals would have you believe. But I hope to God we Finish it! We have too much to loose if we dont.

Why not "Another 50 dead in America today due to alcohol and speed related traffic crashes"?

Since the beginning of the current Iraqi war there have been nearly 200,000 people killed in this country due to traffic collisions. 30-35% of those collisions are preventable (alcohol and speed related crashes). Where are all the anti government, anti Bush, anti military folks at for these deaths?

We don't hear from them because it dosen't make "good news reporting" I guess if we could find some way to blame the President these unneccessary deaths would be front page news every day

At least we train our soldiers, equip them and let them know when they are going to be in danger. What training, equipment or knowledge does someone get when they go to the store for a gallon of milk and are killed by a speeding drunk?

American media needs to re think their priorities

Did you speak to every single American? How do you know that NO ONE cares? I happen to care a lot. I've had friends die over there, I know many people who are still serving right now, I adopt soldiers who have no one back home to talk to, and I am a Marine wife who has supported her husband through 4 tours in Iraq (and will continue to do so). So please don't say that no one cares, because it's NOT TRUE!

It's a volunteer army and the death count doesn't even make the top 10 most hazardous jobs in the U.S. Cutting down trees, construction, farming and fishing are more dangerous professions. Nobody cares if somebody died getting them Alaskan crab or their corn or building their mcmansion either.

It's horrible that this happens. The government has not only failed us as a nation but has exploited the integrity of the armed forces to do their bidding. Instead of invading different countries in the name of fighting terror only to instead rape their way of life and rob their resources we should take over our government and return it back to its glory by focusing on the original constitution and smite all the fascist leaders.

War sucks. We are proud of them and their continued Patriotism.

We feel sorry for their families and for them. We do not cheer the news of their deaths, like many antiwar Liberals, treating their deaths as another bullet on their "end the war" speech.

Yes, we have a congress with the encouragement of our frat boy president that wastes time to condemn the actions of a left wing, ( you may or not agree with them but they are every right to publish whatever they want) group because they are exerting their right of free speech.
