your different interpretation of the Bible is what's dividing Christianity, can't you see that?

Bible Fundamentalists are very much divided among themselves in interpreting the Bible while claiming to do so without any church tradition or authoritative but it is obvous that their interpretations are chock-full of traditions(some from ApostolicTradition and some from other -and often modern -sources) and dictates from pastors or other individuals, anyway, that is how I see it in my humble opinion and in the experience of Christian history.

Bible Fundamentalists are not the only Fundamentalists dividing the Church. Modernist Fundamentalist s like Episcopal Bishop Spong are doing even more damage to the unity and integrity of the Christian Church and Faith and society as a whole IMHO

We all need to obey the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Bible in the OHC&Apostolic Tradition in the OHC&A Church and to discern the real Christian foundation and purpose of the Church and life.
,IMHO Thank you.

The Bible warns that Satan will make great efforts to disrupt the functions of God's Church. The false church or harlot on a beast...will teach the corruption from paganism and other human ideologies as doctrines to replace what God had planned for His followers. Don't be worried about the division...know where it comes from, and seek the Truth. When you know the fruits of those who believe and do the Truth, you will recognize it and either want to join or want to turn away. Pray the Holy Spirit will guide you into all Truth!

When everyone decides to reject those things in Christianity which are based on the traditions of man instead of the Commandments of God...then the true Christians will be identifiable. The charlatans will be counted as honoring God with their lips, but their hearts are far from Him. In vain they worship Him, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. In the end they will say they preached and did many wonderful things for God, and He will say, "I never knew you!"
One more thing...Peter was never a Pope...he never took on any such role. In fact Paul was the Apostle to Rome...Peter did not go there. Those churches claiming Peter as their founder are in trouble...and seem to fit the very discription of what the Bible was warning about.

I'm not sure what your definition of "Bible fundamentalist" is. I am an Orthodox Bible believer. Wish I could discuss this with you more. I pray and hope you do not dwelve into the false teaching in the post modern church today. Such as "relativism", prosperity gospel, seeker friendly. Peace.

My pastor just preached on that a couple weeks ago. Jesus prayed that we would be unified, yet we continually bicker amongst ourselves. I think that too much of the time we attempt to understand the Bible with our minds, instead of seeking the help of the Holy Spirit for understanding. If everyone would do that, we'd be unified. The Bible is to be understood by revelation, not human smarts.

Let God's opinion be what matters, and let go of our need to be "right." Unity is more important than having all the right answers.

There is wheat and chaff.

The chaff does not render the wheat untrue or of no value.

On the contrary the chaff has to be winnowed away to obtain the wheat.

Can't you see that?

Are you unable to tell the difference between wheat and chaff?

Chaff is of no value and does not nourish and tastes awful.

It is fit for burning.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

You cannot just hold bible fundamentalists responsible for the divisions in Christianity.

The reality is that if FIVE people read the bible, independent of any kind of indoctrination from someone else trying to guide their understanding, you will get FIVE slightly different takes on it.

The God of the Bible is a God of Unity, not separation. If we all (Christians) beleive in the God of the Bible, than regardless of our styles of worship, we should all stand united in our belief of the one TRUE Savior, Jesus Christ and respect they many different ways of praising owrshiping and receiving him.

Yesm I do seek division. It is called Biblical separation. We are to be separate from those who do not have the same beliefs about inportant issues. Infallibilty and inspiration of the scriptures is an important issue. If a CHristian church isn't Bible believing- what's the point? How can you trust God if you don't trust His Word?

The Faith of The True Christian is not based on The Bible... The True Christian's Faith is on the firm foundation of God...personal, one-on-one with God... not on any man's "interpretation"

One of The True Christian Faith is not going to participate in "division"... as there is only One Church.... And The True Christian knows that...
