I think atheists are like most people in general. You have the ones who want to have a discussion, then you have the ones who just want attention. Those types will seek it no matter what sub categories yahoo may have.

Yes, and also categories for Catholicism, Protestantism, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, and every other major religion. There is a very high volume of questions here, and it would help to have them categorized in that way.

For that matter, I think "Religion" should be a category of its own, not a subheading under "Society and Culture". Gimme a break. I'll bet anything that R&S is one of the biggest categories on Yahoo.

Well, they wouldn't have to sort through all these religious questions to find something to answer.

It does bother me a little when people are asking questions about a specific religious topic and atheist interfere with a non-religious answer. I mean, if I have a question about God, it's a waste of my time and theirs for an atheist to reply there is no God.

Why stop there? There should be a separate subcategory for each user, just to make absolutely certain that no one comes across opinions other than their own.

No, they would still spend more time here then there. Their mission is to convert you. They can't do that if they go play their games somewhere else.
