I have chatted online with some Iranian people and they say that the U.S.A is lying to try to go to war with them. I am not sure what to think about all of this.

Bush obviously wants a war with Iran. He's been using the same propoganda he used before he invaded Iraq. It's very clear that he's gearing up for an attack on Iran.
Personally, I don't want a war with Iran. It's totally pointless. Besides, America wouldn't benefit from a war on Iran, so why would we need to invade them in the first place? And I don't think Iran is going to attack us (that would be incredibly stupid).
Also, I like the Iranian government. It's very conservative, and I think it ought to be a model for all nations of the world. Destorying it and spreading a liberal "democracy" would indeed be a major setback for conservative governments.

We should invade Iran to achieve what? The last invasion without a good reason did not work out well. Go to Google Earth and take a good look at where all the major players are sitting and then ask again.

Think like an Iranian just for a moment. You're walking home from school one day when a bomb falls on your house just a few blocks away. Your mother and father are inside DEAD for what reason. Because the opposing government who has plenty of weapons of mass destruction thought that it would be a bad idea if you did. They are people dammit and we need to understand what the scourge of war does to our fellow people. What if Iran invaded us?

No. No. No. We can't hadle the mess we have now ther is no way we have the capabilities of pulling off another war. Now if Iran made a preemptive move we may be forced to but Ithink the nwe would have support from other nations. It would still be a mess but.....
However , if we attack Iran then there is no doubt in my mind that Bush will go down as the worst possible leader of the US ever. I think he probably will as it is but that would put the icing on the cake.

Former President John Kennedy set the model for us in 1962 when he blockaded Cuba to prevent Cuba from receiving nuclear missiles from the former Soviet Union.
I remember back then the alarmists predicted all sorts of calamities, including the end of the world because we were blockading Cuba.
To prevent Iran from buying nuclear weapons technology on the black market, we should blockade Iran the way that former President John Kennedy blockaded Cuba.
That will reduce the likelihood of civilian casualties and it will be at least as successful as an invasion.

Irani military isn't as weak as the Iraqi military, which was torn apart by decade long blockade, insufficient funding and lack of technological edge. So its gonna cost America more than just money to invade that country. I don't think its worth such a loss.

Iran's ruling council thinks that the best way to achieve God's rule of the world is to destroy the USA.
Iran's President prayed for the end of the world in fire while addressing UN General Assembly.
Iran has been waging a guerrilla war against the US since Jimmy Carter's administration.
The President of Iran today was one of the students who seized the American embassy.
Iran wants nuclear energy when they have enough money, oil, wind and solar energy sources to be self sufficent in 3 years and totally off oil in 5.
Iran wants nuclear energy the other use of nuclear energy is to make WMD's.
Reasons against invasion:
Great way for USA to commit suicide.
Learn a new language so you can convert to Islam.

We might all pray to different "Almighty Gods", but let us pray that we don't go to war. We aren't even through with the one we are in now. We have lost so many brave and beautiful lives already.

i was alive in 1979, and watching the news. there has been nothing really change. no, we should no invade. pull all troops out of Iraq , then start every plane we have and carpet bomb both places. when nothing moves and the sand is turned to glass the world will be a much safer place.

We should definitely invade, because it will give our bored, underworked, military folks something to do.
Plus we still haven't shipped the Coast Guard or the Boy Scouts off to war, and this would give us a chance to do that.
Also, we still have a few Humvees that haven't been blown up, so this would be a good way to dispose of them.
