"Pueblo" is the word used when talking about a small town or a village.

But.. actually, it ALSO means "people" when you're referring to a Community or Nation, as in "the President is elected by the PEOPLE" = "El Presidente es elegido por el PUEBLO".

Well,
1. We call "pueblo" an urban area that is smaller (in area or population) than a "ciudad", then if city = ciudad, then town = pueblo.

2. Sometimes "pueblo" is used to refer to the people that lives in a country for example "el pueblo puertorriqueño" which means "the puertorrican people". For example: the opening sentence of the constitution that reads "We the people..." is translated "Nosotros el pueblo..." not as "Nosotros las personas" or "Nosotros la gente...".

Your translation is pretty good! I translated it too, but I think that yours is really nice. Glaciers and national parks are the lanscapes I go around every day in this southern land where I live. These are places that never stop surpirsing me every day and, if you are planning to come to this area, it will be a pleasure for me to help and suggest you things so you can take advantage of your time here and have an unforgetable trip.
