Because the bible Holy Spirit is One Spirit & does not contradict Himself. But confirms the Word of God in the Holy Bible. Yet the Spirit of the Mormon Church confirms the Holy Bible & Mormon book by a feeling in their bosom.

What is the difference between the filling of the Holy Spirit between a born again Christian (not Mormon) and a Mormon?

the difference is this,
the book of mormon was written by Joseph Spauldin (sp?) about 100 years before joseph smith stole the manuscript and submitted it as his own, he did not even change the handwriting which experts have said is that of Joseph Spauldin, (until they found out it was the book of mormon and retracted the statements, and all have had death threats, one that I know of was chased and shot at repeatly on the freeway.

Anyway, the book of mormon was originally a set of childrens stories, that is why you have things like elephants in there.

But the problem with the kids story and the original book of the bible is in the book of mormon, he is told during the seige of babalon to go to a land that God will show him and it will become an inheritance to him....WRONG!

When God made the original covenant with Abram changing his name to Abraham, his generations were promised the Holy Land for their own.

to superceed this agreement between God and Abraham, would be a clear violation of scripture, the contract itself and the nature of a Holy LORD.

The Tanners (dyed in the wool mormons) under took to prove mormonism to have historical roots. They found a lot of problems and left the church. The published their findings which is still available to this day.

From Brodie I think her name is, a decendant of Joseph Smith wrote a book (have a copy) called, "no man knows my history" which is from a quote by the then yet living Joseph Smith. Well the newspaper men of that time took the challenge and found that Joseph Smith was a petty criminal made good with this new religion angle.

In the original newspaper investigations, where they actually talked to people who know the smith clan, no one had a good thing to say about them. In fact, there is nothing of redeeming character ever spoken by anyone who know the smith clan prior to him forming the mormon religion, This is a matter of public record. (i bet some blood is boiling now)

Revelations came to Joseph as needs arose as in taking on more wives...If God spoke it, who are you to deny the commandment of the LORD.

That is why the Holy Spirit of the Bible will not confirm the book of mormon, one is a childrens book turned into a religion the other is the Word Of God

There is only one Holy Spirit, and He confirms truth in the hearts of those who seek sincerely.

Thus, He confirms the Word of God in the Bible, and He also confirms the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon.

I know from personal experience that the Holy Ghost truly does help us to know the truth.

The Holy Ghost will confirm eternal truth - whatever truth you may find to ask about, if it is done with research and understanding and sincerity. No difference. Just different questions, asked different ways.
