Approach this will love, patience and humbleness. For you to judge them to hell is rather harsh and a sin in itself. Its not that you can not state the fact that life away from God leads to eternal hell, it is how you are saying it. My reading this, and I am a Christian, I pick up hatefullness and anger, not actual love and caring as to what happens to these people. You lead people to christ because you have the same loving spirit as Jesus did, not because you think you are better than they are. And that is exactly the tone of your post. Sorry ....... as Jesus tells us ..........
Remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother’s eye. —Luke 6:42

EDIT: READ YOUR RESPONSES!!!!!!! IS THIS HOW YOU LEAD PEOPLE TO CHRIST???

You're funny!

I like to use the reverse of Pascal's Wager:

If I'm wrong, and go to Hell, then I will be more just than God. A God I wouldn't want to be a slave to anyway.

I could stand proudly and say, on that day of judgment:
"God, you were invisible and everything I saw, heard, smelled, tasted and felt in my heart did not convince me of you. In fact, everything I discovered pointed away from you, so let's get on with this - I did not ask to be created in the first place and I sure as Hell did not find ANY reason to believe, therefore, I - as Lucifer (apparently) before me, and 1/3 of the angels in Heaven that followed him - believed him - stood for their independence.... I proclaim loudly and with a pure conscience that the God of the Bible is unfair, unjust and cruel.

If.... and if I am right:

Then I have gained everything. I have discovered how to love, live, I have discovered kindness, compassion, right-doing - using my own intellect and feelings.

I have needed no teacher but experience. I can say at the end of my life that I have lived as fearlessly as a man can live, and have stood in the face of severe adversity from my religious acquaintances and have stood my ground with what I perceived to be just and right.

I will not have lived in vain.

..and to you brave souls - you independent thinkers - who will not settle for the myths of your forefathers - you few who take up the machete to clear a path for those unenlightened souls, clinging to their dusty relics - I raise my cup to you across the years and miles.

I don't think you don't believe in the thousands of different gods dreamed up throughout history, INSTEAD you don't WANT to believe in all of them! for some stupid reasons! (to use your own words).

What if the god that really exists sends all good people to heaven and all bad people to hell except people who pretended to know for a fact another god existed? then all good atheists are going to heaven but YOU ARE GOING STRAIGHT TO HELL. Why not repend when you still have time? Why risk eternity in hell?

And how can you worship a sadistic god that tortures good people - most of the people who ever lived - for all eternity?

Pascal's wager:

"If god exists, it's infinitely better to believe, since you get heaven instead of hell for eternity. If he doesn't, it doesn't matter since you're dead anyway. So overall it's better to believe"

This is, of course, false.

Some of the problems with the argument:

* The implied assumption that god may exist (with a 50% probability, no less!)

* The assumption that there is an afterlife with a heaven and hell

* The assumption that the god cares about belief in him/her above all else

* The assumption that if you believe in a god, it will definitely be the same god that actually exists.

* The assumption that you lose nothing if it's false. You have lost a great deal, from time praying to a nonexistent entity (some people pray several hours a day!!!) to morality (your god may ask you to hurt other people) and much more besides.

* The assumption that people can believe in something simply because it benefits them. Would you believe goblins exist for twenty bucks? Why not?

* The assumption that any god won't see through the "believing just to get into heaven" ploy.

And which "god" do you believe in ? Oh sure , the Christian one because that's the one that's been pounded into your head since birth .The other five billion people in the world are all nuts , so far as you're concerned .
I pray that you find the RIGHT god before it's too late .

The same thing you say when you end up in the realm of grim Hela, instead of feasting and fighting with Odin; the same thing you say when you find yourself in Tartarus tied to a burning wheel, rather than going to the house of Hades or the Asphodel fields; the same thing you say when you are reincarnated as a toad, rather than achieving Moksa; etc., etc.! You just don't care to learn how to please Odin and go to Valhalla with him, you don't care about respecting Zeus; you don't care about following Buddha's 8 fold path; etc., etc.! I do not want to believe or disbelieve anything. I am ruled by logic, not emotions and feelings. It is childish to want to believe anything and stops you from seeing reality. What is stupid is to blindly believe some nonsense for which there is no logical proof and much evidence to make one doubt it. You are not qualified to call me stupid. I could say that about you, if I was as barabaric as you are, but I have manners. Is this the way your God and Jesus want you to behave? Have you heard of do unto others, love thy neighbor as thyself, turn the other cheek and as you judge others, so shall you be judged? If there was a Hell, you would be there before the atheists were. I am glad for your sake and my sister's that Hell is fantasy. You and she are not the ones to say who would go to it. I have looked at many gods, but they are not so easy to find in reality, because they are all fantasy. I hope you find Zeus, Odin, Marduk, Ahuramazda, Yu Ti, Amon, Allah, Ra, the Flying Spaghetti Monster and all the other gods men have invented, before it is too late. There is no reason to accept your deity, instead of any of them.

i don't think i could believe in a god that would send good people to hell just because they're gay, have premarital sex, watch porn, ... ar anything else Chritians condem people for.
(notice i said christians and not god)
besides.. like many of the people here have already said:
if you don't believe in hell how are you going to be put there?
same thing for heaven
hell is not a physical place.. so it only exists if you believe it does

I'm not atheist and I don't care whether or not there is a god. There is just no reliable evidence for one.

All the rants of bible and qur'an lovers will not convince anyone who is educated and is not coerced, troubled, indoctrinated young, or part of a movement of hysterics.

Tangible evidence of god would come from god, not from a bunch of nomadic goatherders.

The closest thing to Hell I will ever get is reading comments like yours day after day.

Maybe atheists are pushed away from believing from people like you. Are you doing more harm than good? And if so, will that keep you out of "heaven?"
