Don't let this situation pass too far along...otherwise you'll be screwed. You need to call the hotel and demand to speak to the hotel owner. Explain your situation, don't get angry or raise your voice...just politely tell them that you were expecting your wedding day to be hassle free and because you booked it at THEIR hotel it wasn't, you'll be sure to recommend other hotels in the future and you expect to be compensated for all of the problems. 20% off the wedding or on your refund. Bottom line. Don't budge. Otherwise threaten to call the local news and have your story viewed by your entire town. That should work.

Do you have anything in writing from the hotel, or its manager in regards to the number of rooms and the rest of your requirements for your wedding including any discounts your were told of? Do you have the invoices showing what you were charged for, and a list (on paper) of all of the complaints along with times and dates?
If you have all of these documentation, it is
within your rights to secure an Attorney and sue the hotel/manager for mental anguish,
and ruining your Wedding, when you should NOT have had to cope with any of the above crap.
You need to contact anyone ABOVE the general manager and lodge a formal complaint, listing everything that I outlined and ask them if they wish to be sued, if not,
tell them you want a total refund and name the amount plus what you think you may be due for damages such as: inconvenience, and rudeness to your guests, if they decline to deal with you, then get an attorney, and report them to the Commission of Hoteliers or the chamber of Commerce and any other venue where they advertise, you are allowed to post your opinions(as long as you are not vulgar).

Report to the better business bureau. If you have anything in the contract or written down regarding anything about the rooms or if the hotel has any policies regarding the rooms posted that contradict the service you and your guests received than I would certainly push it as far as you can go. If you just don't feel like dealing with it at the very least report them.

You figure out exactly what you want...write it down. Then make an appointment right away to see the manager and lay out the details for him of what exactly was wrong and how you'd like to be compensated. Be very specific. Don't say, "we should get some money back" You say the rooms cost $100 each and 4 of the rooms were defective, I would like a full refund on those rooms. Don't leave there until it is resolved.

I would call the owner of the hotel or corporation and schedule a meeting. Get written accounts of what happened from your unhappy guests so that you have documentation and evidence to show. Explain the situation and tell them that it would be in their best interest to do something about it and make it right before you take your evidence to the better business burea, travel advisor, news channel (our local news does an "on your side" segment where they confront businesses who have provided poor/unethical service), etc.

I'm sure you spent a lot of money at that hotel and you gave them quite a bit of business. They are completely in the wrong and you need to do whatever it takes in order to get justice for yourself and your guests.

You need to find out who's in charge! Speak to the manager of the hotel. Put your foot down! I would even go as far as calling the BBB. That sounds ridiculous! Especially the hotel knew you guys were coming! WTF! Don't give up! Your in the right! I've never heard of such a thing! Where did you get the hotel rooms at? Sounds like the damn hotel needs to be shut down! You may even have a lawsuit against them! I would tell them you are gonna sue!

GM? Its not in his department! Well you better find out what is! Tell them you wan't you money so you can go elsewhere! You definitely need a refund!

I agree with all who said go to corporate. There is not reason to be treated as such. Be sure to get the GM's name and tell corporate he refused to compenstae you much less talk to you. The GM is responsible for all guests at the hotel. So the line that it is not his department is total BS. Go to corporate, they will be more willing to take care of it.

Complain to the main office. Make the letter detailed, and courteous. No demands no insults and no cursing. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Also, go to TripAdvisor, or PlanetFeedback, or MyTwoCents and complain. Let those who are looking for hotels know your experience.

You said your wedding was a week ago. Why are you still stomping around all pissed instead of enjoying your newlywed status?

Write a letter to corporate expressing your discontent and let it go. This kind of stuff sucks, sure but it's not worth losing your sanity or not enjoying your new marriage over.

Write to corporate (assuming that it's a chain). They will handle it from the top. Do not waste your time arguing with the middle man.

Good luck
