No -- property ownership is independent of citizenship or legal residence status.
Legal residence status or citizenship apply to people, and the person's right to entry and presence in the country.
While owning property is often one of the factors in granting temporary or permanent resident alien status, it is not they key factor.

No it does not. You can be naturalized or born here, those are the only two ways, now if you are in the process, here on visa, and not illegally, it may or may not help you. Now, if you are here "illegaly" and you purchase property, and they catch you, run through "Due Process" your land becomes siezed, and you won't get a penny for it. Your best bet to answer this question would be to visit the INS website, or call a local office.

not necessarily, I mean, in USA whether you are a citizen or not we still pay taxes, but that doesn't mean you can get your citizenship.. you need to find a lawyer and start filling out an application to get your residency then after a time full process, they charged my husband 1500.00 to start off with.. then the process began after the app was filled.. then they sent him to get his fingerprints done and the actuall graduation to get his residency.. Good Luck

Nope. You've got to become a citizen legally. When you get caught, I hope you don't lose your property.
