So my professor is giving the option of either, 15 hrs of volunteer work and one 5 page paper or 3 in class paper.

So I'm debating on whether or not to try volunteering, last semester I had her and did the in-class papers, and was stressed trying to remember all she said in class and studying along with other classes. But I'm not really a people person I'm (introverted), but I think it would be good experience for me and it would look good on my resume, now I'm debating on whether to choose a service where I'm involved with people or without people, it's crucial to the paper we right.

So any thought or opinions/suggestions?

I did volunteer work at the library every week for six years, and I loved it. And a library is a great place for a quiet/introverted person!

Choose the volunteering! It's a lot of fun and you'll meet some great people. I've been volunteering since I was 14 (I'm 27 now) and love it! I'm also quite quiet but it really helped to bring me out of my shell.

You don't have to work with people. You could work at an SPCA with animals or in some sort of environmental group where you're cleaning parks, etc. There are so many choices!

Sooner or later you are going to have to get involved, it might as well be now. Maybe work with some underprivelidged youth if you like kids, if thats to much noise, try a hospital, thats were I volunteer at, a va clinic or a minority type medical facility is a good place. Soup Kitchen, food pantry. Maybe even a local church might need some help. Get involved, its your world to you know.

I think you should volunteer. Try and volunteer at something to where you are working with people. it looks better on a resume. It shows that you can be a team player. Good luck.
