Because it brings the most conviction to self righteous man.
It is not a take it or leave it option as the man made religions are.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

You asked why do you think? For me, because Christianity is truth and Satan hates that. Satan's biggest trick of all isn't blatant evil behavior but the idea of no belief at all. The people he controls through non belief that peruse the Christian forums he wants to keep confusion and animosity going. In reality the spirit of Jesus knocks on the door of ALL our hearts and that's why even the non believers and people from other religions come to the Christian forums; they're arguing but they're curious!

Because if you argue Buddhism, you'll be met with a shitload of philosophy and evidence and theories and more. It's hard to argue and most are ignorant on the subject.
Most even think its "atheism." Some believe it has a diety.
Christianity is the dominant religion in the Western world. Ironically, most people are blind to their own government so the same is true for faith

Probably because the majority of people on the English version of Yahoo are from the US, a mostly Christian country. And even in the rest of the world, the "Christian" countries usually have the most technology and best standards of living, allowing more of them on the Internet.
And because it is the largest religion in the world.

For the same reason that no ones swears in the name of another god. It's because it is the one, true religion who worships and believes in the one, true God. If He weren't the only true God, then He wouldn't be a threat to the other religions and His name wouldn't have power in it. The darkness hates the light. To those who are perishing we are a fearful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved we are a life-giving perfume" (2 Corinthians 2:16, New Living Translation).

I read all the comments and not one states what Jesus told his disciples.
John 7:7
The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that what it does is evil.
John 15:18
[ The World Hates the Disciples ] "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.
Here are the reasons why Christianity is the most argued.

There's a few reasons. Muslims tend to delete more questions about islam than Christians do about Christianity. There are more Christians in the USA and it makes sense there would be more questions about it on R&S.
I have to say something about the remark that Christians try to force their beliefs. We talk about our beliefs. We will vote according to what we believe in our minds and our hearts. EVERYONE does that...not just Christians. I know atheists who are pro-life. I know Jews who are against homosexual marriages and Christians who are for it. You should be worried about how colleges and airports are catering to Muslims. You should be worried about schools allowing Muslim students to pray and teaching islam in the curriculum. You should be worried that Muslim taxi drivers are allowed to discriminate against blind and handicapped people since they won't let the guide dogs in their cars. Atheists who don't think praying or anything religious should be allowed in PUBLIC. So please stop whining about Christianity when everyone is guilty of voicing their beliefs. Google it and see and then tell me Christianity is forcing anything.
God Bless.

Christianity goes to the "heart' of the matter. The human consciousness is at war with Christianity because it is being "put out of business," so to speak. In other words, the basis of Christianity is threatening to human thought satisified in a cozy slumber, or spiritual darkness.

Most who post here are American, Canadian or from a country in Europe.
So when it comes to Spirituality and Religion, Christianity is the most predominant one.
It is NOT some special persecution against them. If most of us were from India, then Hinduism would dominate the discussion.

Perhaps because it's the most controversial among all other religions and ideologies?? There are tens of thousands of different "Christian" denominations in the world today, each one having their own "version" of what Christianity means to them.
And one out of every three people in the world claim to be a Christian. Need I say more?
Peace be with you.
