It is by their book. What I find so amusing about their Anti-Lying rules/god's law is how many of their leaders and followers promote agenda of faith by intentionally lying and misleading the public in order to maintain their control.

If the word of god and the teachings of jesus are so great shouldn't they sell themselves?

Why all of the lies?

Here is one excellent example of FACT to prove my point:

The Dover ,PA trial regarding the teaching of Intelligent Design. The religious people that were testifying perjured themselves not once, not twice but dozens of times, under oath after swearing on a FLICKING bible.

They did it so many times and so blatantly that the judge ended up lecturing them for about 20 minutes like a bunch of small children.

Lying is a sin according to the Christian bible.

But it doesn't get a whole load of attention by Christians in America these days.

Gays seem to be their main rallying point. Pity cause while gays do not affect anyone and homosexuality is more of a private matter. Lying impacts on OTHER people's lives all the time.

Just think of all the millions fraud cases ALONE in our country and the latest epidemic of identity theft. Think of all the marriages ripped apart by lies INCLUDING lying about your TRUE sexual orientation. Think of the lies told by big companies who knowingly sell dangerous products etc.

If Christians are REALLY concerned with the downfall of our society, seems they have their "sin" priorities mixed up.

John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Revelation 21:27
And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Revelation 22:15
For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Do a bible search and check out falsehood or lies. You will then know a little more of the face of evil and how subtle it is.
