What factors are you using to label someone "illegal" just by looking at them?

Unless you have a crystal ball, there is no way to tell who's illegal and who is legit.
You must verify their status by looking at their papers. You maybe violating labor laws by not hiring people just by looking at them.

You can't, but even if you checked his/her papers, how do you know the documents are genuine? Something left up to the INS, I think. Just because they speak English well isn't a guarantee either. They could have come here as a child, went to US schools and still be illegal. That's what part of the Dream Act is for. To make the illegal, legal.

Before our county started enacting denial of benefits for illegals, many would come right out and admit it. There are some definite warning signs that point to either an illegal alien and/or a drug dealer.
1. They conduct ALL their business in cash.
2. Their vehicles do not have adequate inspection stickers, county tax stickers or state tags. The front tags may not even be the same as those in the rear.
3. They don't speak English. At all.
4. They (or their children) wear gang paraphernalia and engage in tagging.
5. They run from car accidents.
6. They refuse to comply with county or HOA requirements limiting the number of occupants per bedroom.
7. They hang out in front of the 7-11 or Home Depot waiting for day labor jobs. (BIG red flag.)
I'm sure there are more, but those came quickly to mind. Sure, legal citizens may do these too...but the more of these danger signs that they have, the better chance they have of being illegal.

Hey, I think this is not a good question to ask...You cannot label someone as "illegal" by just looking him/her. ..

There is no way. Many people assume is you speak Spanish and have a tan you MUST be illegal. Heck, Im white and speak Spanish and I have been called illegal. Some people will never be happy with themselves, so they try and drag others down to boost their pathetic self esteem.

Don't we just look for illegals who are doing jobs Americans are not suppose to do and proclaim they are indeed illegal
since no legal person wants the job that leaves only them.

no and i know that for a fact ....you wouldnt be able to tell my husand and my in laws are because they speak english... their kid have gone through the school system and graduated.....and work ,they are just like any american kid(they have taxes taken out too)
sorry to bust it but i have never seen an illegal hide when a cop comes... i know some that sat there and talked to the officers while they get a ticket(driving without a license, but have insurance.lol) so please stop saying stuff if you dont know for a fact! thanks.
lets see i know a lot that have adequate tags and i like someon to provide proof that a majority dont
they speak english..not some but a lot
none of the illegals i know are gang bangers or associated with them...but i do know americans....
not once has an illegal i know ran after an accident.
so can people stop putting people in a group because of a few bad apples that are like any american that breaks the law!!!!!

That would be like looking at me and trying to figure out if I have a license to drive. It's not possible to know if they are illegal unless their documentation is presented.

How do you spot a homeless person? How do you spot a rich person? Legals pay property tax, hospital tax, school tax and illegals do not. illegals can be seen at wire transfer stations sending all their greenbacks to ole mececo. illegal do not have identification or insurance when they run into your vehicle which happened to me.
